Mustang Passion
Description: I can remember in the fall of 1983, when I first saw it. It was dingy red, muddy and had grass and hay stuff all inside. I was almost 13 and didn’t know too much about cars, but there was something about this 1964.5 Mustang convertible that intrigued me. This passion ignited further when I discovered the car was made on the first day of production. Monday, March 9, 1964 was the first day that Mustangs rolled off the assembly line.Only about 12 convertibles have surfaced from the first 3 days of production. That first week Ford rolled off approximately 867 Mustangs and Fairlaines. Ford averaged about 120 Mustangs per day that first week |
