Welcome to Klaus' 64½ early Mustangs webpage (Version 2.0) !

This site is dedicated to the early 64½ Mustangs!

Since I drove my first car (Ford Capri) I had the dream to get my own garage with all the tools I need to do a complete restoration. The car of my dreams was a Jaguar E-Type but (thankfully) it were out of my price range. Then a friend asked me if he could use half of my garage for a restoration of his 66 mustang coupe. While assisting him on his restoration as much as time allows, I was more and more infected by this early pony car virus. Over one year later somebody told me, that there was a lonely ragtop sitting only a few miles away in the dirt, waiting severals year for his revitalization. At that moment I didn't realize that this car would cause more work then I expected. In my phantasy I saw myself already crusin around and so I get the owner of a rusty hulk. The car was sold as an 65 Mustang and it takes some time before I learned enough about this cars, to see that it was a 64 1/2 Convertible. Proud on this information I started to learn as much as possible about this early cars...
Special Thanks at this point to Charles Turner for everything I learned from him about early Mustangs.

Don't miss the story of a 65 Fastback called "Rambo" who was nearly dead after a heavy crash with a Volkswagen and the pictures from the Mustang 40th Anniversary Celebration in Nashville! I placed some HiRes Pictures (1280x960) from "Rambo on Tour" in the gallery which you could download if you like!
Thank's to all of you, who made this Webpage update sign a success! As you can see, the hit rate is still growing! This is actually one of the most accessed Mustang Sites outside the US! I actually we have nearly 1000 visitors each day and I'd like to say Thank you! to all of you! I promise to cary on, in finding more interesting thing's concerning early mustangs. If you have questions concerning early mustangs don't hesitate to send me an email - thank you!

Order Documents from a '66 Mustang
Ford Mustang HistoryFollowing is a sequence of documents that follow the order and delivery of a 1966 Mustang Coupe sold at Bradford Fairway Sales in Bradford, PA. Significant information about each document is provided in an attempt to better understand how an early Ford Mustang was ordered and subsequently received by the dealer. Unfortunately, I do not know if this car survived through the years and if it still exists, but maybe this article will help to find it...
I obtained this paperwork many years ago along with a few others from the same dealer.
